The upcoming movie, formally known as Frankenstein (see note below). But now with the title Igor (IMDB) and starring Daniel Radcliffe (as Igor) has been delayed for 9 months.
The movie also starring James McAvoy as Doctor Frankenstein was originally penciled in for January 2015, has now been pushed back by 9 months, we are wondering if it will be worth the wait.
With Hollywood movies becoming more and more in to the reboot, revamp, re-tell stage of movie making, it makes you wonder whether they will ever start moving back to the original stories.
Igor Or Frankenstein Again!!
With Frankenstein being done so many times in the past and particularly by Hammer, is this incarnation going to be worth the wait?
Pushing the movies release to October 2015, could be a wise move by Fox, it isn’t the time of the year where movie goers put their bums on seats Kore that they do in January, but I’m not overly convinced myself!
So whether it’s refilming, script changes or other issues nth at have delayed the film, who knows, but we shall see how it goes when it is finally released.
Note: There has been some buzz going around that the title still is Frankenstein, the website IMDB begs to differ, with it been seen on their website with (original title) Frankenstein and (new title) Igor!
