You may have seen a few weeks ago we caught up with the lovely Chris Edgerley to chat about this year’s Easter Panto at the Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, Robin Hood, we’ve managed to grab another star from the show, Josh Bennett, who has been in Harry Potter and Channel 4’s Severn dwarfs.

So you’re coming to Rhyl on the 30th with Robin Hood, Please tell us a little about the show and story?
It’s another love story like all the other fairy tales. Boy meets girl, he saves her from the nasty sheriff or Nottingham with his band of Merry Men. They also find time to help others along the way. The show is very colourful, fast passed. Lots to laugh at, people to cheer with and a baddy to boo at.
You’re at Rhyl Pavilion Monday and Tuesday, have you ever been to Rhyl before?
I was in the Snow White pantomime Christmas just gone and had a blast of a time. Am pleased to be coming back to Rhyl Pavilion.
You’re known for Channel 4 Seven Dwarves, Tell us more about it?
As I’m sure many already know, I was part of a docu-reality show ‘Seven Dwarves’ which follow the lives of Seven dwarves on and off stage. 7 people living in a house together did get a bit stressful from time to time but it was also fun. It was nice to be part of something different that opened people eyes to the fact that we are not that much different just shorter.
What’s the biggest achievement of your career so far?
I must say everything I’ve done I have loved every minute of. Being able to do what I do I class myself as very lucky. Being able to do what I do every day is an achievement and cool one at that.
How long is Robin Hood tour going on for?
The tour is on from Friday 27th March until Wednesday 15th April then Thursday 21st May till Saturday 30th May
What funny moment happen in Robin Hood?
Well… If we don’t remember our lines a lot will probably go wrong and be very funny. There is a very funny competition within the show and an orange traffic cone but they will have to come see the show to find out more 🙂
What are your plans after Robin Hood?
Straight after I know what I’d like to do is go on a nice little holiday and sun myself for a week or two but what I’ll probably be doing is the Garden lol. There are a few projects that are a work in progress but come Christmas time ill be at Harlow Playhouse with Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
