Just in time for Halloween, as I bring you my review of the upcoming horror/thriller Incision starring Korrina Rico, Lee Kholafai, Costas Mandylor and directed by Az.
Beauty Blogger Alexa Landry only had one fear, plastic surgery. She ultimately had to face this fear when she was kidnapped with her friends by Dr. Cunningham. A deranged plastic surgeon who is obsessed with beautifying his victims.
Brilliantly written horror movie. The story is a bit slow to start, but that is like any other good movie just so we can get to know the characters and each of their own story.
This really isn’t for the lighthearted. If you have a fear of operations or surgeons then I would avoid this one. If however, you like theatre programmes or movies that have a lot of blood and gore then this is definitely the one for you.
I thoroughly enjoyed it as it had the feel of the Hostel movies, which I really enjoyed. Lots of scary moments that will make you flinch as you feel the pain of every incision.
Starring Korrina Rico (Ray Donovan, In Time) as Alexa Landry, Caylee Cowan (Lethal Weapon, Sunrise in Heaven) as Becca Landry and Lee Kholafai (Glass Jaw) as Matt Casey, Incision is brilliantly written by Chris Kato it really does make you never to want to have any plastic surgery at all.
The special effects are really fantastic and Marik Knight is really amazing at bringing the chills to my spine with his character Timothy Cunningham. The only other young actors to be able to make me feel that way in a movie is the twins from the shining, you horror fans and fans of Stephen King will know exactly what I mean.
INCISION MOVIE will be released on iTunes/Google Play/VUDU on November 12, 2020.
