Haunted Scouse Premiere of Accrington Police Station and Courts

On the 7th of August, it was our chance to be featured in the first-ever Fan Event for the guys at Haunted Scouse.
The fan event was to be at Accrington Police Station and Courts. What an amazing place it was too.

From Connah’s Quay and Oakenholt, in North Wales, myself and my best friend Amy Foulkes, made our way up the motorway on what was a night full of torrential rain, but that did not dampen our spirits (excuse the pun). In fact, it added to the excitement of our first ever paranormal investigation.

Haunted Scouse guys (Chris Cummings and Adam Billing) were hosting their first fan event. Tickets were on a first come first serve basis, and there were 10 fans that had the opportunity to explore this fantastic place full of history. This small group of us was perfectly portioned to explore this venue.

We couldn’t wait to get started.

We were all welcomed in individually, and filmed making our entrance into the venue. Firstly have a quick brew whilst everyone was arriving.

Once everyone had arrived, we were taken into Court no.1. As soon as me and Amy walked into Courtroom no.1, we were blown away by the fascinating structure of the place. Truly amazing when you are there. Me and Amy took the opportunity along with the rest of the party of fans, to take photographs, and have a look around courtroom no.1. It was great talking to the other fans, none we had ever met before, but we all felt like we knew each other more once the event was over, which was so lovely.

Anyway we all were sat and gathered in courtroom no.1, and both Chris and Adam went through all the health and safety etc., and anything we didn’t feel comfortable with, we were to let them know.

What was great about this night, was both Chris and Adam, relayed to us, as it’s a Fan Event, it’s our night, and to enjoy it. Which we all did, to be honest. We were then split into 2 groups, one group with Chris and one group with Adam.

Both Me and Amy were with Adam and were to go down the steps, to the cells and police station. Torches at the ready, we were full of excitement and made our way down into the dark unknown. We had no idea what was ahead of us. We introduced ourselves to the camera (I’m always camera shy), and then we started the investigation.

Without giving too much away, it was a very interesting experience, both me and Amy will never forget. And we will never forget it in a good way of course. We were given the opportunity to try out different pieces of equipment. I had the EMF temperature reader, and Amy had an app on a phone called “Spirit Talker”. The app threw out some very interesting words that really coincided with where we were in the building. I had very quick spikes in the red on the EMF reader. No explanation as to why it did it, but it did make me jump when it happened.

We were in rooms with all our torches off and even sat in cells as a group, with our torches off. Really ramped up the atmosphere. And even though we were near a main busy street, being in there you zoned any street noise out. You were in the moment.

Once we had finished downstairs on our group vigil, we regrouped with the other group upstairs in Court Room no.1, and then had a quick breather. Brew, biscuits and crisps. And of course, a chance to catch up with each of our group’s members, and see what they were experiencing. It was amazing what other people were experiencing upstairs in the courtrooms, the same time we were downstairs in the cells.

It was then time to change over groups, but Amy and I decided to go back down to the cells, we wanted to have some more experience down there, but also see if anyone experienced anything different.
Before we knew it, it was then time to regroup upstairs. We had a discussion with Chris and Adam, and all the fans. We, then, did shout outs within the courtroom and got responses.

Chris and Adam wrapped up the recording, with us cheering and clapping. The drive home to North Wales was full of chatter about what happened that night.

What an absolute belter of a night it was.

As you can tell from this write-up, I haven’t given much away, and the reason being is the episode premiered on the 17th of September. You have to go over and watch the episode, to find out the evidence that was found, and how we survived.

Did we come across the famous “Sgt Booth”?

It would be great if all of the readers could watch the episode on YouTube. Even better, subscribe to the channel, and like the video, it doesn’t cost you anything but would mean a lot to both Chris and Adam, if they could get over 1000 subscribers.

Please show your support for the Haunted Scouse Team. These guys appreciate every fan they come across. Give the guys a follow on all social media platforms, and keep up to date on future episodes and news. You can find Haunted Scouse on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
