The documentary is bound to be interesting to many generations and from what we’ve seen from it, it’s also going to be quite moving showing the story of the fighter, brother, lover and father.
Synopsis
I Am Ali, coming soon in cinemas, on Blu-ray, DVD and digital download, is the latest offering from British director Clare Lewins and the makers of the Academy Award© winning ‘Searching for Sugar Man’.
An intimate and heart-warming look at the man behind the legend – as we’ve never seen Ali before. ‘I Am Ali’ is told through exclusive, unprecedented access to Ali’s personal archive of ‘audio journals’ combined with touching interviews and testimonials from his inner circle of family and friends, including his daughters, son, ex-wife and brother, plus legends of the boxing community including Mike Tyson, George Foreman and Gene Kilroy.
I AM ALI, takes interviews with close family and friends and even personal phone calls and conversation from Ali himself and charts the rise of his boxing career through the years. I AM ALI is released in cinemas on November 28th as well as on DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital Download.
