Good evening everyone, I am so pleased to bring you the news tonight that Blazing Minds has made it to the next stage of the UKBA18 UK Blog Awards and the website is now a finalist in this year’s awards.
The first stage was to be nominated for an award and a category, the next stage was the public vote and I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that voted for myself and the website in this year’s UK Blog Awards.
The next stage of the UKBA18 UK Blog Awards is down to the judges who will be meeting on the 31st January and reviewing Blazing Minds (suffice to say, very nervous and excited), the final decisions will be made on the 16th February.
The awards ceremony will take place on April 20th, so you can imagine that the next few months are going to be a nail-biting experience and no doubt that the months will also drag by as the anticipation rises to the boil!
Out of the 4,000 entries and nominations, Blazing Minds is one of 6 – 8 blogs (depending on the category) that have made it through as a finalist in the UKBA18 UK Blog Awards, so again it’s down to our readers for voting for myself and the blog during the public vote, thank you again.

Just had the news in with the announcement of the sponsor for the Arts and Culture category, Visit Holland is responsible for marketing Holland as a destination and for encouraging visitors to travel throughout Holland and discover its unique culture and heritage. Karen Woodham is the founder and owner of the Blazing Minds. She is also a Cinema reviewer and works with RealD 3D reviewing the latest 3D releases and IMAX, she has also had several articles published in various publications including the first edition of SFW Magazine. In 2015 she became an Award Winning Blogger and also has her website listed as one of the UK’s Top 10 Film Blogs.
