We’ve been fans of Blues Harvest since first seeing them and Sci-Fi Weekender, I was also lucky enough to chat with them backstage, today I’m very pleased to bring you the news that the highly anticipated single based on the top TV show The Mandalorian and will be released as a double A-side single, featuring “The Mandalorian” and “The Marshal’s Tale,” on August 23, 2024. This release celebrates the iconic music of the beloved Star Wars series The Mandalorian.
As the go-to party band for sci-fi and geek culture events, Blues Harvest has captivated audiences across the galaxy with their unique blend of high-energy performances and pop-culture nostalgia. From Comic-Cons to cantinas, their renditions of classic film and TV themes have made them legends in their own right.
The inspiration for this double A-side single stems from their memorable performances at The Forge, a Mandalorian-inspired celebration in London’s West End in 2023. Blues Harvest delivered electrifying live renditions of these tracks to an enthusiastic audience, including The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal and creator Jon Favreau. Pascal, visibly impressed, gave the band an enthusiastic thumbs-up, while Favreau personally congratulated them, praising their interpretation of Ludwig Göransson’s epic compositions.
Blues Harvest’s dedication to the Star Wars galaxy is well-known, and this release is a tribute to the fans and friends made during The Forge event, including the Mando Mercs Vok’Chi Clan and the talented blacksmiths from Oldfield Forge, who synchronised their hammering to the music. The band also extends their gratitude to Premier for organising such an unforgettable experience.
With their new release, Blues Harvest invites fans to relive the epic adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu through their masterful musical interpretations.
