Cineworld has just announced Secret Screaming 10, which is set to take place at a Cineworld near you on October 6th. As this marks the ninth instalment in the Secret Screaming series, it’s time to speculate about which film will be featured. The age certificate for the upcoming screening is currently listed as 18 on the website, which could be a bit of a red herring. Although the runtime is noted as 90 minutes, this might be misleading. For reference, the previous Secret Screaming, which was shown on August 25th, was The Toxic Avenger.
I always find secret screenings to be incredibly exciting. As we enter the cinema, we have no idea what movie we’ll be watching, and we love the element of surprise. The Cineworld Secret Screening is now open to both Unlimited and non-Unlimited members, allowing everyone the opportunity to enjoy the same thrilling experience we Unlimited Members have during our occasional Unlimited Secret Screenings.
With the news of the Cineworld Secret Screaming 10, we thought we would take the opportunity to see what film could be shown for the latest “Screaming” for 2025 but with not much being released in the horror genre during August it seems that we only have a few choices of what the movie could be, we will update the page if there are any other movies that could be popping up.
Possible Movie for the Cineworld Secret Screaming 10
Good Boy – October 10 – Film Shown
A loyal dog moves to a rural family home with his owner, Todd, only to discover supernatural forces lurking in the shadows. As dark entities threaten his human companion, the brave pup must fight to protect the one he loves most. Read our review of Good Boy.
Black Phone 2 – Oct 17
As Finn, now 17, struggles with life after his captivity, his sister begins receiving calls in her dreams from the black phone and seeing disturbing visions of three boys being stalked at a winter camp known as Alpine Lake.
Shelby Oaks – October 31
A woman’s desperate search for her long-lost sister falls into obsession upon realising that the imaginary demon from their childhood may have been real.
Shelby Oaks marks the debut feature from Chris Stuckmann, with assured visual storytelling and razor-sharp tension, it boldly announces the arrival of a compelling new voice in genre cinema.
That’s our thoughts on what the Cineworld Secret Screaming 10 could be. It could even be something very unexpected! But with not many other horrors being released in October, these are our predictions (at the moment).
