Here at Blazing Minds, we love the excitement of going to the cinema and even more so to check out the Cineworld Secret Unlimited Screening 14, the thrill of not knowing what you are going to see is lots of fun and even more so when you see people expecting a big blockbuster and getting an indie film that is brilliant, but they walk out before even giving it a chance!
Today, Cineworld announced that on the 5th of January the Secret Unlimited Screening 14 will be screening, as always they haven’t given much away on what the screening will be, but with a great selection of movies being released in January 2022, we thought we would take the opportunity to see what the Cineworld Secret Unlimited Screening 14 could be.
What could the Cineworld Secret Unlimited Screening 14 be?
Sometimes the movies that are shown can be a couple of days to a couple of weeks in advance, so these are the movies that could be shown as the Secret Unlimited Screening:
The 355 [Cinemas] – January 7
When a top-secret weapon falls into mercenary hands, a wild card CIA agent joins forces with three international agents on a lethal mission to retrieve it, while staying a step ahead of a mysterious woman who’s tracking their every move. Starring Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o and Diane Kruger.
Operation Mincemeat [Netflix US/Cinemas UK] – January 7
During WWII, two intelligence officers use a corpse and false papers to outwit German troops. Starring Colin Firth, Matthew Macfadyen and Kelly Macdonald
Boiling Point – January 7
Enter the relentless pressure of a restaurant kitchen as a head chef wrangles his team on the busiest day of the year. starring Stephen Graham, Vinette Robinson and Alice Feetham.
Scream [Cinemas] – January 14
This is one that many Scream fans are looking forward to and with the recent re-release of the first movie back in cinemas, then this could be a good contender.
Twenty-five years after the original series of murders in Woodsboro, a new killer emerges, and Sidney Prescott must return to uncover the truth. Starring Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette.
Cyrano – January 14
Too self-conscious to woo Roxanne himself, wordsmith Cyrano de Bergerac helps young Christian nab her heart through love letters.
Nightmare Alley [UK Cinemas] – January 21
We recently brought you some news about the release of Nightmare Alley. An ambitious carny with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words hooks up with a female psychiatrist who is even more dangerous than he is. Starring Bradley Cooper, Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett, directed by Guillermo del Toro.
Belfast – January 21 (This was the movie that was shown)
Directed by Kenneth Brannagh, A young boy and his working-class Belfast family experience the tumultuous late 1960s

Morbius [Cinemas] – January 28 (Postponed to 1st April 2022)
Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead. Starring Jared Leto, Michael Keaton and Adria Arjona.
It’s sad news that Morbius has been pushed back to April 2022, so since posting this list the movie may be out of the running for the Secret Unlimited Screening 14.
Sing 2 – January 28
From the creators of Despicable Me, Minions and The Secret Life of Pets, Sing 2 is the sequel to the hit 2016 original and marks Universal Studios’ 10th animated sequel.
The film features some of the original cast including Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey, Tori Kelly, Taron Egerton, Nick Kroll and Nick Offerman, as well as some new characters voiced by the likes of Bobby Cannavale, Bono, Halsey, Pharrell Williams, Letitia Wright, Eric André and Chelsea Peretti.
Moonfall – February 4
A NASA executive, an astronaut and a conspiracy theorist travel into outer space to stop the moon from crashing into Earth.
Death on the Nile – February 11
While on vacation on the Nile, Hercule Poirot must investigate the murder of a young heiress.
Dog – February 18
Briggs who, alongside his companion Lulu, a Belgian Malinois haul ass down the Pacific Coast in time to catch their best friend’s and handler’s funeral. One of them has a week to live, the other lives like every day is his last.
So there are some ideas on what the Cineworld Secret Unlimited Screening 14 could be, there are some other movies that are heading our way in the month of January, Cineworld could throw us a curveball and show a film that has a release in the first week of February, you just never know.
