Google and Earth Day 2014
Google have changed their picture on the search page to celebrate Earth Day with an animated Rufus Hummingbird. Upon clicking the image on their page you will be taken to all the information about the Hummingbird so that you can learn more about it.
You can also celebrate the day with the hashtag #MyBeautifulEarth on Google+ where you can upload your pictures celebrating our wonderful planet, click on the hashtag above and you will be able some of the amazing pictures that people have sent in celebrating Earth Day.

So as I mentioned above you can use the hashtag above to share your images on Google+, I’ve shared some myself  on Google+ and will do some, later on, Twitter as well:

So there’s just a couple of mine that I have taken in the past and have used for this year’s earth day. There are some amazing pictures going around at the moment from people using the hashtag and some of them have been taken in some wonderful places around the world.
We only have one world to live on and we all live together, there is no getting away from it, so let’s not destroy the only place we have to live, let’s try to keep it alive for future generations to enjoy.
