Exclusive New Images for A Bennett Song Holiday

Auburn Moon and Painted Creek Productions has exclusive new images for A Bennett Song Holiday, a heart-warming new family film about love, acceptance and inclusion. This is a sequel to the recently released Bennett’s Song starring Tara Reid and Dennis Haskins; and has all the makings of an instant holiday classic…laughs, family, love, lots of music and a sinister pack of villains who attempt to spoil it all. Directed by Harley Wallen and written by Nancy Oeswein, this film follows the very modern and timely Bennett-Song family into the holidays.

Starring Corbin Bernsen (Psych, The Punisher) as the villainous real estate developer Aiden Neville and returning for the sequel is Dennis Haskins (Saved By The Bell, A Million Ways To Die In The West) as Sam Bennett. This lovable character actor returns as the Bennett-Song grandfather, ironically a former sitcom star who borrows from his character’s stream of poignant and sometimes corny advice.

Joining Corbin and Dennis is an emerging young teen Bryce Xavier (Alexa & Katie, Family Time). One of a new breed of Insta-famous kids, Bryce brings a solid following of younger audience members certain to love the Bennett-Song family. In addition, the powerful deaf stage actor James Caverly (Broadway’s Children of a Lesser God) makes his motion picture debut as Adam Song. He joins three other young deaf actors in this diverse film, ranging in age from four to fourteen. Returning in the starring role of Pearl Song is Calhoun Koenig (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Moving Parts, Agramon’s Gate) and the parents of this unique family, Harley Wallen (Abstruse, Betrayed), and Aprhodite Nikolovski (Cut/Print, Answer This!). Esteemed Nashville musician Peter Moon wrote the original music for the film.

You can find the original heart-warming family dramedy film Bennett’s Song via Vision films currently on Amazon, Comcast, Vudu, FandangoNow, Direct TV, iTunes and many more. It is also available in stores at Target and Walmart. This film has been very well received internationally, especially in Canada, Australia, China and former Yugoslavia.

Harley Wallen is excited about the sequel and said; “After talking ideas with Nancy for the sequel I wasn’t sure where I stood on the storyline but getting the completed script, I really enjoyed how much impact the characters have! The original music and performances having a bigger footprint, the deaf community also grabbing a bigger piece of the pie with James Caverly and Morgan Nimmo was exciting! Also, I must say, A Bennett Song Holiday is a much funnier movie in my opinion,”

“Having an actor, the caliber of Corbin Bernsen in a role he really thrived was very exciting and a big role and having the always funny, talented and charming Dennis Haskins back in a much larger role was exciting! But the cherry on top was the electric teen sensation Bryce Xavier and his performance across our own superstar Calhoun Koenig, you could feel the chemistry in every scene. They say don’t work with kids and animals, but I had such a blast shooting this film, and I’m very proud of everyone’s effort and energy… I think we have something very special here!”
