Hey folks, it’s chart time, and we are very pleased to bring the Official Film Chart and the news that there is a new Official Film Chart Number 1 this week, with Fantastic Four – First Steps landing straight at the summit.
Marvel’s “First Family” makes its triumphant return as Fantastic Four – First Steps launches straight to Number 1. The film introduces audiences to a bold new take on Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm as they grapple with extraordinary powers and their place in a changing world. Critics and fans alike are hailing it as the start of an exciting new chapter for the MCU.
The chilling sequel to Danny Boyle’s genre-defining films infects the chart at Number 2. 28 Years Later fast-forwards nearly three decades into a devastated world still haunted by the Rage Virus. With shocking twists, terrifying new imagery and a gripping survival story, it’s already being called one of the most powerful horror revivals in recent memory.
Ballerina – From the World of John Wick pirouettes into Number 3, expanding the hit assassin universe with style, while How to Train Your Dragon (2025) soars to Number 4, delighting fans with the next chapter of the beloved animated adventure.
Action dominates the mid-chart with Nobody 2 at Number 5, delivering more hard-hitting vengeance, while Superman (2025) rises to Number 6 as DC’s most iconic hero begins a new cinematic journey.
Universal Pictures also lands a second major franchise return with Jurassic World – Rebirth, roaring into Number 7, followed closely by Karate Kid – Legends at Number 8, bringing generations together in a fresh martial arts story.
Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt continues his death-defying legacy in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning at Number 9, while rounding out the Top 10 is Universal’s dazzling adaptation of the global stage phenomenon Wicked, enchanting audiences at Number 10.
