Queen fans get ready as GA GA are delighted to bring their ‘Best Of Queen’ Tour to Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl and invite you to join them in an evening devoted to the music of the legendary British rock group Queen.
After filming last year for the BBC as part of the ‘The Story of Bohemian Rhapsody’ BBC documentary, GA GA have embarked on their present tour with plaudits from both fans and critics alike, including the Official Queen Fan Club and Queen’s guitarist, Brian May.
The band have performed at a diverse collection of shows with artists including Squeeze, The Spice Girls, Space and Frank Skinner. They have played to crowds of over 20,000 people at events such as the Party in the Park and the Mardi Gras, and have also played at many Queen conventions from Southport to Holland to Dubai.
No Wigs, No Make-Up … Just Pure Rock’n’Roll
GA Ga do not dress up or make themselves up to look like Queen, but instead concentrate on the the power and precision that made Queen’s music great. Aided by a stunning light show the band brings hit after hit to the stage with a musical dexterity that gives a fitting tribute to the genius of Queen. Classic songs such as A Kind Of Magic, Radio GA GA and Bohemian Rhapsody encourage the audience to become part of the show, just as they were when Queen performed live.
GA GA consists of 3 Merseyside based musicians:
- John Holmes – Vocals, Guitar
- Tony Pilling – Bass Guitar, Vocals
- Graham Patrick – Drums, Vocals
All three band members are long time Queen fans and all were fortunate enough to see Queen live in concert.
