The new feature film, Me, Myself and Di, has begun principal photography in North Wales. The female-led comedy in the vein of Muriel’s Wedding and Bridesmaids is the latest production from London based outfit Three Wise Monkeys.
What Me Know About Me, Myself and Di
According to the synopsis for the new film, when Bridget Jones-type Janet, a 30-year-old, ‘Bollywood’ loving virgin, wins the trip of a lifetime, she’s convinced by her best friend, Diana an ageing lap dancer at ‘Long Legs’, with issues aplenty, to pretend to be the opposite of who she actually is, in the hope of finding love – but it’s only when she becomes herself again that Janet gets close to her happy ever after.
With an ensemble cast that includes Larry Lamb (Gavin and Stacey), James Lance (Alan Partridge), Tyger Drew Honey (Outnumbered), Perry Benson (Benidorm), Lucy Pinder (The Royals), Wim Snape (The Full Monty) and Katy Clayton (Shameless).
Directed by Chris Green (Best Laid Plans), producers Trish Rybarczyk (Tango One), Sacha Bennett (Outside Bet) and writer Samantha Lloyd.
