Shocking News: The Queen’s Corgis Have Been Stolen!

In this day and age of social media and the likes of YouTube, the world is at our finger tips and with the headline that “The Queen’s Corgis Have Been Stolen” we are intrigued by what is happening and how anyone could steal the Queen’s Corgis, it’s not only shocking that this would happen but also something that would bring the world of pet lovers to their knees with the fear of what would happen to the Royal twosome!

But please don’t be too alarmed, the Queen’s Corgis are safe and sound and in the comfort of the palace with the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family!

This newly release video has been created by the fast-growing website “The News Hub” and is certainly growing popular traction across the internet since its release on December 10th 2014.

The video, which let us assure you is a prank, depicts a member of the British public at the centre of a nationwide search for The Queen’s corgis.

We’re getting reports that the Queen’s corgis have been stolen from the grounds of Buckingham Palace.

Anyone watching the start of the footage with the Breaking BBC News introduction would be shocked to know that The Queen’s corgis had been stolen right from beneath her nose!

With a handful of unsuspecting people enjoying a day with friend at a London bar, a man and woman meet with the corgis, only to have a heated conversation in a foreign language, before the man storms off leaving the woman with the dogs, what can she do but leave the dogs with a member of the public!

With a planted actor/waitress to bring in some more mischief in the prank to say that these are The Queen’s corgis and so shortly after the Swat team arrives for the missing dogs.

The Queens Corgis

So what would your response be if this actually happened and how do you think that the world of social media would respond to something that is a bit of a national treasure here in the UK, it would be very interesting to see how people would respond and we will see from the video above from the responses it will get as it does the rounds around the globe as it is released upon the general public today!

I know when I first saw the video, I did have the moment of shock, thinking that it could be all real, after all it does start off with a real newsreader!

My hat is tipped to “The News Hub” for such a superb prank, but who exactly are The News Hub, well, that’s in the next section, so please keep reading as I have their info here for you.

Who Are The News Hub?

The site launched its beta in August and has been growing strongly since. It now has contributors in nearly 25% of the world’s countries and receives traffic from over 200 countries.

Contributor’s range from experienced journalists to bloggers, from activists, to people on the street who take photos of news incidents and upload them to the site. The News Hub is a free market for news that pays for the best content, no matter the source.

One of the platform’s aims is to allow people affected by news situations around the globe to tell the world what’s happening on the ground. Instead of western journalists providing western perspectives on events in foreign countries, The News Hub gives local residents a platform to reach a global audience.

The News Hub’s readers can access its content for free and shape the experience to their interests. For instance, users can follow their favourite journalists and select the type of news they want to see, such as politics but not golf. Crucially, The News Hub doesn’t have a central editorial bias. Instead, it allows its readers to see different points of view and then make up their own minds.

We support free expression in real time
As a contributor, you can publish whatever you like, whenever you like. Our platform treats all contributors equally – whether you’re a professional photographer, an essayist, or a tweeter.

We serve the public interest, not the agenda
That’s why we offer nothing less than complete editorial freedom and why the community chooses what content should be seen. We don’t decide what you should be interested in.

We challenge the status quo
We are not only non-partisan, but we allow new voices to challenge perspectives that have been entrenched by the traditional press. We believe in a fairer, more rounded picture of current affairs.

We encourage debate
There’s never one side to a story. We break down the one-way relationship between reader and reporter by giving you the tools to have your say and to hear what people really think about the biggest issues of the day.

We support journalism
Our aim is to make independent, inquisitive, publicly minded journalism sustainable. We pay for the best content each month (please see our FAQ for more details), while our business model is designed to support the next generation of journalism.
