To celebrate the 10th anniversary of North Wales Pride, Blazing Minds have been asked to pop on over to Bangor and return to celebrate the event we first covered many years ago in 2014 when the Pride event was at Hendre Hall.
North Wales Pride was established in 2011 and is a unique and important event that celebrates the LGBT+ community and offers opportunities to bring people together and reduce rural isolation.

What’s on at North Wales Pride 2022
The Pride event will be taking place in Bangor on the 25th of June and the programme looks a little like this:
11AM – 1PM:
Storiel
Children and family activities.
Pontio
Workshops.
1PM:
Pride Parade
Starts from Dean Street and finishes at the cathedral. (No Vehicles)
2PM:
The Ranch
Official pride party with live music.
5:30PM:
Pontio

Who’s Performing at North Wales Pride 2022
There is a great selection of bands/artists performing at the event, you will be able to find them at The Ranch, the list is a great collection of various musical genres including, Oopah Stompers, Bwncath, Gruffydd Wynn, Mr Breakdown, Crystal Bawls, World Wide Welshman, Eryl, Sarah Wynn (CELAVI) nad Lara Turner.
Planning to get to North Wales Pride
At the time I was writing this article the Rail strike had just started, so the news is that the strike will affect rail travel on the 25th of June, so if you are travelling to Bangor then please be aware of the reduction in trains and the congestion that the roads may have due to more people using their cars and other public transport. So please make sure that you leave enough time when travelling to Bangor and keep an eye on traffic news etc for any delays.

As I mentioned earlier Blazing Minds will be at the event in Bangor, so please say hello when we are there.
