So that’s it for another year folks, the Oscars was an interesting night of awards for some great films and stars of the screen, not really any major surprises with the winners, with many of them being predictable.
The evening did bring some nice touches with a great performance from Lady GaGa performing a medley of songs from The Sound of Music which was greeted with a standing ovation from the audience.
During the early hours we were tweeting live and blogging live here on the site with all the results as they were announced, so after almost four hours of awards, we finally posted up the award winner for Best Picture at around 5am.
