Here at Blazing Minds we’ve been waiting for this one with excited anticipation ever since seeing the teaser recently with the cup of water on the car dash-board, nor Universal Pictures have released the full trailer for Jurassic World, although we will have to wait until next year to see it, but from what we have seen from the trailer, it does look mighty impressive.

The premise for Jurassic World is that it’s twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond.

But our question is, is this a reboot or a sequel?

Jurassic World Trailer Still

There are bound to be comparisons to the first Jurassic Park, but by setting the storyline 22 years later, which coincidental is modern-day, it’s hard to think that the first movie was released in 1993, so when Jurassic World is released next year it will in fact be 22 years, now we are feeling old!

Jurassic World Official Trailer

Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Bryce Dallas Howard (The Help) and Vincent D’Onofrio (The Cell), it’s directed by Colin Trevorrow. Jurassic World will hit UK cinemas on the 12 June 2015.

As I mentioned earlier, not entirely sure if this is going to be a sneaky reboot, but it sis still going to be interesting to see, specially if they pull in the story of the previous three movies in to the storyline of this one, it is based 22 years later from the first one, literally!

So over to you now, my dear readers, what’s your thoughts on the trailer for Jurassic World? Do you think it’s a reboot/reworking of the original movie from 1993 or is it another version of the Michael Crichton book? We would love to hear your thoughts, so please pop them in the comments section below.
