Notora are an alternative rock band from North Wales, and consist of three members, Dylan, Darren and Sam, they released their debut single “Stay” on 17/04/2020

The band are made up of lead vocalist/guitarist Dylan Lloyd, who I’ve met a couple of times at gigs, and what an amazing talent he is. Also on drums is Darren Dorling and Sam Green on the bass guitarist.

Originally called CRY the band rebranded with their new moniker Notora, and have not only changed their band name but have also changed their genre of music. It’s always a risk changing the name of a band, and the music, especially as CRY had established quite a fan base, and great music.

I have to say I was not disappointed by this debut single from Notora.
I love the absolute sound of this top track, which I downloaded on to my Spotify mix of unsigned bands.

I was trying to establish what their sound is, and from this track, it is an art of rock. I feel there is an element of Thirty Seconds To Mars fronted by Jared Leto, in this particular track. And they are an amazing band too.

It is a very addictive track, and I can’t help but play it over and over again. I also find it’s very unique in their sound, such talented guys.
I have to say I cannot wait to see the guys of Notora play live, hopefully, this year. I would imagine this particular track would be amazing live.

Looking forward to hearing more from this band, and as they are an unsigned band, I urge you to get this track downloaded, and listen to it. Give them your support, especially when they are out doing gigs again.
