Rhys Byrne is a singer from Kinmel Bay, North Wales.  Rhys brings us his second single called ‘My World’, which also has a B side, which is called ‘The Moment’.  

Rhys has played music since he was 10 years of age, and has grown up around the local music scene.  

Rhys describes his music as ‘Jangle Pop’, but states it is a weird one to catergorise.  

I was truly honoured to be asked by Rhys to review his second single.  

On listening to My World, it is a single that will totally resonate with alot of people, including myself.  

You can hear the Welsh essence of Rhys’ truly unique voice in this single.  Beautifully written, and such a beautiful acoustic track.  You can tell from listening to this track, that Rhys has put his full heart and soul into developing this track.  Well done Rhys on such a beautifully written track, both lyrically and musically.  

Now going on to the B side of Rhys’ single ‘The Moment’.  

A slight upbeat kind of track, but again beautifully written and performed.  I do understand the lyrics, and this is what I love about it.  We all have these moments of coming across as cold in a heated moment with someone, but really trying to process their feelings, and to have a rethink as to how they handled that moment.  

I did find with both these tracks that I could have listened to them just that little bit longer, but apart from that, these are both great tracks.
