Here’s some exciting news about upcoming movie releases in June, courtesy of Signature Entertainment. Fans can look forward to the DVD and Blu-ray releases of several titles, including the slasher film “Screamboat,” inspired by the classic “Steamboat Willie.” Additionally, the latest installment in the epic fantasy franchise, “Mythica: Stormbound,” will be released, along with Donnie Yen’s legal action thriller “The Prosecutor.” Finally, don’t miss the political journalist biopic “Words of War,” featuring an impressive cast that includes Maxine Peake, Ciaran Hinds, and Jason Isaacs.
Screamboat (Cert 18, 102mins)

See David Howard Thornton transform from the Art the Clown to the tiny terror of New York in this horror that’ll make you shiver the next time you hear a squeak in the night. A group of New Yorkers are on a late-night ferry ride that turns deadly when a mischievous mouse begins a rampage, targeting unsuspecting passengers. The unlikely crew must band together to thwart the murderous menace before their relaxing commute turns into a nightmare.

Fear Below (Cert 15, 85mins)

It’s gangsters versus bull sharks in the Australian outback of 1946. A team of professional divers in 1940’s Australia are hired to locate a sunken car in a river, who soon find their efforts are thwarted by a deadly bull shark hunting in the waters. When the divers discover they are working for ruthless criminals trying to recover their stolen gold bullion, the bank robbers prove to be as treacherous as what lurks beneath the surface.
Starring Hermione Corfield (Sea Fever), Jake Ryan (Wolf Creek), John McConville (Elvis), Jacob Junior Nayinggul (High Ground), Arthur Angel (Red Dog) and Maximillian Johnson (High Ground), Fear Below is directed by Matthew Holmes (The Legend of Ben Hall) from a script he co-wrote with Gregory Moss (The Cost).
