Former Married at First Sight UK star and Ms Great Britain April Banbury proudly announces the launch of her debut bridal line. Drawing from her experience in fashion design & the bridal industry, April’s collection embodies a modern and unique twist on classic elegance, featuring intricate detailing and luxurious fabrics.
Despite earning a BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Design, April encountered significant challenges on her journey—including discouragement from a former partner who dismissed her ambition as ‘a pipe dream,’ and serious health issues such as a disc prolapse, a debilitating spinal condition that left her hospitalized and living with chronic pain. However, she remained passionate about achieving her dream:
“Having my aspirations discouraged in the past has only made me more driven to succeed, and launching my own brand is an exciting milestone. For me there is no better feeling than helping a bride find the most important dress of her life” says April.
April has also recently qualified as a Reiki Healer (level 2), which she considers the final piece of the puzzle in her own healing journey. She says, “I’ve developed a deep interest in holistic healing to manage my nerve pain and heal past trauma. Reiki has had an incredible impact—energy work with intention is truly magical.”
April’s stunning bridal collection reflects her commitment to quality, fit, and inclusive sizing—values shaped by her years of experience in luxury bridal styling. Her collection, Nova Belle, features affordable luxury gowns priced up to £2,500, alongside a bespoke service for brides seeking to celebrate their personal style with something uniquely their own.
April Banbury’s designs are already capturing celebrity attention. Kelsey Parker, widow of The Wanted’s Tom Parker, attended the pre-launch and expressed her love for the collection, while Love Island finalist Matilda Draper previewed the collection and shared her excitement online, posting, “I can’t cope,” as she tried on several of the stunning gowns.
