We’re Going Back On The Buses – 50th Anniversary Reunion

Fans and all surviving Cast will be heading to Prestatyn and Rhyl this August for a Holiday On The Buses Cast Reunion as part of the Celebrations for the 50th Anniversary of the TV Series.

Holiday On The Buses was filmed in North Wales during the Summer of 1973 and the third and final spin-off Film always creates excitement.
one of the organisers Rich Coghill told us “There is just something about this film, it has gathered a huge cult following and even now People still gasp when you tell them it’s a Comedy Film made by the Kings of Horror: Hammer. At the Time when Hammer was struggling, The Spin-Off Films turned Their fortunes around. For the Fans to be able to come and visit so many filming locations and spend the weekend with the Cast from a 1973 Film is ultra rare nowadays and for a while, they feel a part of those Golden Days when Reg Varney and Co were up to Antics at Pontins, Prestatyn. Believe Me, if you are a huge fan of this film you will get Goosebumps when you arrive!

Mark Brownbill the Duty Manager at Pontins is always so Welcoming and He, along with the rest of the Staff give us a lot of help and assistance which is truly appreciated. And the real Beauty is that they are fans of On the Buses too. I see us all like one big family keeping alive the memories of this Iconic Film.
