If you’ve read Blazing Minds for a while you may have noticed the interview that I did with @DrRus and @GeneralSarge for my Blogger Interviews, “General Sarge A Build-a-Bear with A Blog”, so I thought it was about time that I did a review of the blog itself.
One of the things that really appeals to me about the General Sarge blog is that fact that it’s all done with a passion, right from the early blog posts you can see that the blog is written with passion and the love for what is happening on the blog and the chronicles of General Sarge himself and of cause his ower Ben.
So what’s it all about then?
“The Chronicles of General Sarge…… PVT. Benjamin Jeffrey’s Build-A-Bear”, to give the blog its full title is a wonderful blog that follows the adventures of the Build-a-Bear, General Sarge, and was created by Rus Jeffery as a way of coping with fact that his 18-year-old son Ben is in the army, General Sarge is actually Ben’s bear and while Ben is in the Army, General Sarge is keeping busy and blogging about what’s happening.
The blog is also helping out with other families with their children in the US Army with the Families First Campaign, the blog has even been contacted by Build-a-Bear and they themselves are now supporting General Sarge and his blogging endeavours.
The fun thing about the blog is the photographs, each day along with the blog posts, General Sarge posts up some wonderful photos of what he’s up to and this in turn just adds to the fun of reading the blog. It’s very different to a lot of blogs these days, it’s not about blogging for money or how to create the worlds by SEO for your blog/website, it’s all about having some fun with a serious side and for me it’s one of my daily visits among the blogs I read.
Why should you visit General Sarge?
Why not? Just take the time to take break from what you are doing and stop by and just read some of the posts and say hi to @GeneralSarge and @DrRus, I know they would really appreciate your support and love to meet you as well 😉
