I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2020 Ant and Dec go on their travels in Wales

So you may have already read the news on Blazing Minds that I’m A Celebrity is heading to Gwrych Castle in Abergele, in North Wales instead of New South Wales, so we were over the moon when Ant & Dec brought out their brand new trailer for the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

However, it seems that neither Ant nor Dec are aware of the show’s change of location.

Ah it’s great to be back Down Under.” says Ant as he steps out of a black cab and becomes immediately acquainted with the countryside. “I would hate to see the kangaroo who left that.

Wow that was quick.” says Dec as he pulls off an eye mask. “I must have slept through the whole flight.

Don’t spend it all at once” says Ant as he pays the cabbie – in ‘dingo dollars’.

Dec consults an I’m A Celebrity map of Australia. “This place looks nothing like my map” he says.

How many more times. Australia is upside down” says Ant exasperated as he turns the map the wrong way up.

Of course, it is. I’m such an idiot. Isn’t that right Mr Kangaroo” says Dec – as the show hosts walk past a signpost towards ‘The Castle’ and the camera pans across the beautiful Welsh countryside.

The promo for the the new series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! was filmed on location in Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, Wales.

I'm A Celebrity 2020 Ant and Dec Trailer

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will be taking place at the wonderful Gwrych Castle which is only down the road from me is going to be the venue for this year’s very popular reality TV show, the castle which I spent many a day at during my childhood is situated in a tree-lined hillside overlooking the Irish Sea. The atmospheric and spooky ruined castle with its sprawling design and turrets is spread across 250 acres of gardens and grounds.

The adapted version of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will still be hosted by At & Dec and will go live every night on ITV from the castle this Autumn.  As on the regular reality TV series, viewers will see the celebrities undertake gruelling trials and fun-filled challenges to win food and treats in the lead up to one of them being crowned, for the first time ever, King or Queen of the Castle.

Richard Cowles, Director of Entertainment at ITV Studios said: “The Australian jungle is such an integral part of the show it was a big challenge to find a UK location where we could continue to deliver what viewers love about I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!   But Gwrych will definitely do that; the Castle sits in an amazing and atmospheric setting on a hillside overlooking the Irish Sea.  While there will be plenty of changes required as we move from New South Wales in Australia to North Wales in the UK, we are really excited to see how we can adapt the format and make the Castle our new home for a very special 20th series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! this Autumn.

ITV has confirmed that they have the final lineup for I’m a Celebrity 2020, but for now here are the rumours of some of the celebrities that may be entering Gwrych Castle in Abergele could be Vernon Kay, Vinnie Jones, Jenny Ryan, Maya Jama, Baga Chipz, Tazmin Outhwaite, Amy Hart, Matt Baker. AJ Pritchard, Eric Cantana, Joe Sugg, Beverly Callard, Jeremy Clarkson, John Barnes, Lucy Fallon, Ronnie O’Sullivan and Susanna Reid.

Here at Blazing Minds, we are over the moon that Gwyrch Castle is hosting I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Not only is this a great boost for the area, but this is going to be fantastic for the castle as it will be a nice boost for help with the hard work that everyone does to help with funding to try and restore the once majestic delight that stands looking over Abergele.
