So lets face it folks, there comes a time that we may want something a little more than the conventional “onesie”, I’m talking about those cold nights in a tent at an awesome festival.
Well never fear, I’m at hand to let you know and about something that arrived via my postman the other day that will have you cosy and warm, believe me it is awesome.
I was quite surprised how small the bag was for the ‘festival sleeping bag suit‘ that was all rolled up inside, it was certainly the right size for its TARDIS like properties and after removing it from its holder, it was ready to try.
The first thing that springs to mind is a “cosy toes”, now the parents out there will know what I’m talking about, but this has arms and legs for you to move around in, yep, no need to jump out of you warm sleeping bag in the middle of a field with this on.
The actual feet of the suit can be removed so that you can still wear your shoes to walk around in during those cold nights, your hands are enclosed in the sleeping bag suit behind zips, don’t worry you can zip them up and undo them from the inside.
Now unlike those “mummy” sleep bags, you know the ones, once you’re in, you can’t get out of them, this suit is so easy and quick to get in and out of, two zips allow you to simple drop the suit off, simple.
Testing Out The Sleeping Bag Suit
So it was time for me to test out the suit, I removed it from the bag and rolled it out on the floor, the material is well made and quite thick.
As I mentioned earlier putting on the suit was so easy, simple slip in to it, zip it up and its on, the other great thing is being able to walk about with it on.
Throughout the night I was able to move about in my sleep without feeling constrained, it is a little strange at first, being that you have arms and legs in a sleeping bag, but damn it was warm. I was in a little tent in the back garden, testing it out and it was great, I didn’t feel a chill at all.
The Suit is of high quality and is so comfortable, it has to be one of the strangest things that I have reviewed, but once you get used to the warm, adult sized, baby grow, you won’t want to go back to a conventional sleep bag, I know my friend who is always at festivals has his eye on it!!
Overall Thoughts For The Sleeping Bag Suit
This is perfect for those festivals and even those nights under the stars on your conventional camping trips, it’s warm, well made and is something that is just so damn useful.
