Gemma Hartery, who was recently crowned Miss Conwy has launched a new mini-magazine ‘Seasons’ for Clare’s of Llandudno in her first official engagement after taking the crown.

‘Seasons’ is an eight page magazine for Clares which brings together the latest in fashion trends, ‘most wanted’ products and an exclusive style edit for people living in the Llandudno area. The magazine highlights that people that live in the North Wales area can shop locally without having to travel to get access to high-street and designer brands.

Clare’s, was given a new lease of life last year, undergoing a major refit and refurbishment, and is now considered by many to be the store for the fashion conscious in the town. A landmark on Mostyn Street, it is home to an unparalleled range of brands covering womenswear, menswear and cookshop (departments.)

Find all the current fashion trends mixed through Clare’s two floors of fashion collections including Seasalt, White Stuff, Crew Clothing, Esprit, Phase Eight, Masai, Adini and Capri in womenswear and GANT, White Stuff, Animal, Fynch Hatton, Crew Clothing and Esprit in menswear. The magazine is being delivered free to homes in the North Wales area as well as distributed via hotels, in the town and shopping centres from Friday 8th May.

Claire McElroy, store manager of Clares, said: ‘No longer do the fashion conscious have to travel to Chester or Liverpool for some for the biggest names in fashion. Clare’s has a fantastic range of designer and high street brands right here on people’s door step.

‘Seasons’ magazine was the next natural step for us to take following the re-launch of the store last year. We are looking forward to seeing the reaction of our current customers and also attracting a new younger audience through our doors.’

To launch the magazine Clares asked local beauty Gemma Hartery, as her official first engagement as the recently crowned Miss Conwy, to get behind the mini-mag.

She said: “I had no idea that such brands were available in my area before they backed me for Miss Conwy. The store has completely changed its fashion edit with great ranges for all ages. It even has a Moda in Pelle fashion shoe department with lots of great ‘going out’ and casual shoes. I’ll be definitely shopping there more often.’

‘Seasons’ magazine will be delivered to most households in the Llandudno, Conwy, Anglesey and Bangor areas. For those who didn’t get a copy, free copies are also available to pick up in store.
