The Evolution of Robots in Film Over the Years

What is it about Robots in Film that appeals to people so much, we’re not totally sure, but we do know that there are so many robots to mention and so many that are loved and hated in films over the years from the Man Machine (False Maria) in Metropolis to the gigantic Gypsy Danger in Pacific Rim.

So today we’re going to take a look at many of them in The Evolution of Robots in Film, with so many that you will recognise from classic films up to modern-day movies, such as Ash from Alien, Atom from Real Steel and Optimus Prime from Transformers.

Watching films over the years and reviewing many of them here on Blazing Minds we get to see many of these mechanical marvels on the big screen and some in glorious 3D, over the years since the 1920s these have changed from almost human to something superhuman, wow how things have changed in the world of make-believe.

But it’s not all make-believe, we’ve seen the development of robots being used in factories and more in recent years, so is the world of the robots as cinema predicted really coming true! Who knows, but may be one day, we will have them walking around with us and we wont even know, now that is a scary thought!

So let’s stop with the waffling and get on with it, check out the Infographic below and check out the robots in from since 1927.
