So there I was reviewing another film, this time one I’d not really heard of called Fun Size, all I knew about the film is from the trailer that is seen on IMDB.
So basically what we have with Fun Size is a kids no brainer movie, Wren (Victoria Justice) is going to a Halloween party and she has to take her very naughty brother, Albert (Jackson Nicoll) with her, suffice to say he goes off alone on his own little mission as a one-armed Spider-Man!
Fun Size – Blazing Minds Film Review
My problem with Fun Size is its lack of story, it’s one of those films that has little to go on and sticks with the very thin and lackluster script, there are a couple of laughs but not really anything that will have you rolling in the aisles.
I think that if you aged between 10-15 you may find some of the humor funny, but Fun Size is lacking on the side that would keep adults with their kids amused which is real shame as the idea for Fun Size could have taken to some really funny situations.
For me the funniest part of the film is a sequence towards the end of the film, let’s just say fireworks, but sadly that was about it. I was disappointed with Fun Size, it should have been such better than it was.
I can’t really give you a massive review on Fun Size as there really isn’t that much to talk about, even Johnny Knoxville looks so uncomfortably placed in the film, it all just seems a mis-match of script re-writes that have all been randomly placed in one place in a hope that a film with come from it!
Overall Thoughts For Fun Size
If you are a fan of Nickelodeon films the you’ll probably enjoy this or not, sadly it’s not a typical “Nick” film, if you have 10-15 year-old sense of humor, it’s not as funny as it could have been, but the younger kids will love it, ideal to keep the kids happy on a rainy day while the adult go off to see Skyfall.
