So the other day I received an email from Heart FM, now I have to admit at first I wasn’t sure it was real or not, but it turned out to be legitimate.
After organising a place to meet, Relax Coffee Lounge in Rhyl, I met the reporter, Caroline, from the radio station and popped upstairs for an interview about the Build A Bears that I’ve been donated to give to the children in St Asaph.
I’m a little used to doing radio, but I was still a little nervous to do the interview about the bears, but Caroline is a very good reporter and puts you at ease, so I got on with it.

Caroline asked me about the bears and what made me decide to get in touch with the Build A Bear Workshop and ask them if they would mind helping out some of the children in St Asaph who lost their cherished furry friends in the horrific flood.
As some of you who read the blog will know that the inspiration for the call to Build A bear was the site of a lonely bear floating down the River Elwy in Rhuddlan and this got me thinking of the children in St Asaph and wondering what I could do, just to bring a little cheer back to them before Christmas and thanks to Build A Bear ten children are getting some new furry friends to love over Christmas.
Big Thanks To Heart FM
I can’t finish this post without thanking Heart for reaching out to me via my blog and asking me if I would like to do an interview with them, their time is much appreciated and it’s nice to know that my blog us reaching out to people, just like my Twitter and my Facebook profiles.
So thank you, Caroline, for interviewing me and to Heart FM for the opportunity to tell my story.
