It’s always a nice surprise when the postman knocks on the door with a parcel, this time the delivery from Kick Ass Crates and it was right up my street with a box full of movie goodies!

So I bet you’re asking what and who are Kick Ass Crates? Well, dear readers, they are are a UK based company that produces a movie merchandise based subscription service that each month sends out a box that contains some amazing stuff for movie fans, very much like the one we received this month.

The guys behind the company are, as they say, it, “movie loving geeks are constantly scouring the earth for the coolest, interesting, quirky and high quality, movie-inspired merchandise known to man.

We were honoured that the guys over at Kick Ass Crates wanted to send us over their first edition of their movie crate, which included stuff from Star Wars, Captain America, Batman and Suicide Squad. So you imagine how exciting it was when the parcel arrived.

The First Kick Ass Crate is really “Crate”!

The crate/box that you get is roughly the size of a shoe box, but believe me when I say it is absolutely packed to the brim with movie goodness. The crate that arrived features a small booklet that includes information on the movies memorabilia that is included in the month’s crate, so as I mentioned earlier this one had a good mix of movies.

Sifting through the layers in the crate, I was really surprised how much these guys actually do cram into this small boxes, but you know what they say, “Big surprises can come in small packages” and they certainly do.

The October box included:

  • Booklet
  • A Star Wars “Stay on Target” T-Shirt
  • Batman Coaster
  • Suicide Squad Keychain
  • Funko Captain America: Civil War, Crossbones Bobble-head Keychain
  • Iron Man Book, Virus by Alex Irvine
  • Star Wars Captain Phasma Chrome Plated Mug!

Ideal for a movie fan that maybe wants to build up a movie memorabilia collection or even add to their existing one. All the products in that Kick-Ass Crates pack are official merchandise, so you can be guaranteed of good quality stuff for your collection.

We aim to cover all the Kick-Ass movie genres such as Marvel & DC, Comic Superhero’s and Villains, Action & Adventure, Gangster & Crime, Sci-Fi, Martial Arts and Horror Movies. To be honest, each crate will feature anything from the movies that really do get your pulse racing.

All in all the subscription service is good value for money with each “crate” including a value total of £50 and if you are after something a little different to arrive on your doorstep each month, then this is certainly a service that you may want to check out, what’s even great is that they are delivered within in the UK with free postage, yes I know crazy isn’t it.

How Much Will It Cost Me?

Good question, I’m glad you asked, as I was just about to bring that up. Kick-Ass Crates have four subscription plans, starting with paying month to month which will cost you £24.99, but you can reduce that cost by opting for either 3 Month Pre-Pay, 6 Month Pre-Pay or 12 Month Pre-Pay with the latter working out at £21.69 per month. Now that’s not bad considering you’re getting £50 worth of memorabilia.

Hang on I Live Outside the UK

Never fear they also deliver outside of the UK and they’ve told me that they will deliver outside the UK to anywhere that has a regular mailing service.

My Overall Thoughts of Kick Ass Crates

I love the stuff that arrived, all top quality and packaged very well, great value for money and they even supplied some free stress relief around the box (bubble wrap to you and me, but damn that stuff works). So stop on by and check them out, it’s not going to cost you anything to take a look and you may like to give them a try, word up that their November Crate features an exclusive Doctor Strange item, just saying.
