It’s been around 12 months since we last visited Pwllheli for one of the biggest Sci-Fi events in Wales, Sci-Fi Weekender! Where else could you find Superman and Doctor Who together in one place?
This year was a little different for Blazing Minds, not only was we working alongside our sister site, Ask The Usher, but myself and co-blogger Nicola were asked to interview Marvel and Doctor Who actor Spencer Wilding on the main stage!
The Sci-Fi Weekender is now up to number 5 and this year had some big names in the world of Sci-Fi and some guests that are very much-loved from the classic days. Such as the lovely Stephen Grief.
The Sci-Fi Weekender this year was so much more of a tight schedule with us filming instead of just stills, we were rushing around so much more that last year to get in as much as we could.
But the main thing that we had to do and there was a lot of work to do was the interview on the main stage with Spencer Wilding, the build up to 4 pm on Friday was nerve wrecking to say the least.
This was our first interview in front of an audience, but in strange twist of fate, as we went back stage the rather lovely Royd Tolkien was just coming off stage and had a lovely chat with us to put us at ease before our time on stage with some lovely advice.
