As you know we cover the Sci-Fi Weekender in Pwllheli, so we decided to dedicate a page here on Blazing Minds to bring you extra information about the event which is held at Hafan-y-Mor in Pwllheli, North Wales.

We first went to the event in March 2013 and believe me when we say that it was amazing, great shows, amazing cosplayers and some great guests that we had the chance to meet and photograph.

Now that we have now the team behind the official coverage and one of the official photographers for the SFW events, we thought it fitting to have this page, we update it with links to articles across Blazing Minds that are about the weekender, so that you can have them all in one easy place to find, we may even add some exclusives in on this page as well.

This is going to be the big one! Sci-Fi Weekender will be celebrating 10 years of geek and nerd festival fun in 2019 and as usual, we will be there to bring you news on the spot.

Sci-Fi Weekender 7!

Sadly I only managed to get myself to the Saturday for SFW7, but what an amazing day, the chance to work with the mighty Brian Blessed, Eve Myles and Kai Owen, you can read all about it and see the photograph of Brian (That he so kindly commented on over on his Facebook page) in my article about Sci-Fi Weekender Wales 2016.

Another Sci-Fi Weekender Comes to an End

Well folks we’ve got through another weekend of Sci-Fi in Pwllheli and what a weekend it was, it was slow to start but once it got going what a great weekend it turned out to be, we finally got to do a photo shoot of Darth Elvis live on stage and met up with loads of old and new friends during SFW6, check out the articles below with some mighty fine photos, if I do say so myself.
