It was a trip up to Conwy Marina today for the Wales Boat Show, a fascinating show that is a haven for the rich as they descend on the Marina to see what they can spend the £300,000 spare cash they have lying around!

This is more in my price range!
To be fair, the event isn’t just about selling expensive boats to the rich, it was a great day out with many stalls selling local produce as well as the rather largely priced boats tied up in the Marina.
After paying the £10 (yes £10) to get in to the event, we walked around looking at many of the boats and dreaming of a lottery win to get that gorgeous boat, ah dreams!
We headed over to the waterfront and noticed that a Wet Jet would be performing, now this is something that I have waited ages to see in action and they aren’t to be missed, so while waiting for the Wet Jet to start its performance the boat came in to travel around the corner to Conwy.
So we boarded it and headed to the observation section at the back, we were then told the Wet Jet was about to start its performance and the boat wouldn’t leave just yet so everyone could see it and wow was it worth it.
Excuse the pictures, the boat was little rocky at the time.
I have to say, the day was fun and the weather was absolutely gorgeous, with a lovely boat trip to Conwy and a nice relaxing drink in the pub, it was a day that I wouldn’t have missed for the world.
Ending the day in one of my favourite places, Hickory’s in Rhos on Sea, for their delicious burnt ends, pulled pork and Hickory’s Ale, I know any excuse to stop off there. Big thanks to Lynn, Debs and Sam for the company, now where and when is our next trip 😉
I Will be adding more photos from the Boat Show shortly, so please keep an eye on my Flickr set for those.
