The second night of the Coast 2 Coast festival was another night of foot tapping and up onto the dance floor entertainment, this time with Joe & Jake and the amazing Bjorn Again.

The Big Top over at the Rhyl Events Arena which started filling up nicely at around 6:30 last night as families and fans of the acts arrived to enjoy another night out of music and entertainment.

It was a very different night from the Jongleurs Comedy night the previous night, but none the less, people were ready for the evening.

Joe and Jake at Coast 2 Coast

Joe and Jake - Coast 2 Coast

Those of you who read Blazing Minds on a regular basis will have seen the interview that I did with Joe and Jake at the Race for Life. I’d been looking forward to seeing their performance and hearing more songs from them since chatting to them.

Joe and Jake didn’t fail to please the audience on the night, their performance was very entertaining, with a mix of cover versions to get everyone in the Big Top ready to have more fun.

Although not many people didn’t get onto the dance area to dance, most of them dance around their tables and chairs, but you could see that everyone was enjoying the lively performance from the boys.

Bjorn Again, ABBA is alive at Coast 2 Coast

Bjorn Again (2) - Coast 2 CoastI had heard a lot about Bjorn Again and was told to not just expect a tribute act, but to expect something more from the band.

Yes they did do the ABBA classics and they did them very well, you could have been mistaken to think you were actually watching and listening to the original ABBA. It was certainly a performance that got people off their seats and up to dance.

The choreography during Bjorn Again’s time on the stage was brilliant, this is a band that you have to see. Not only do they sing, they get the audience involved with a little chat etc.

Halfway through their set, girls went off stage and the guys did something I really wasn’t expecting, they started performing Jump by Van Halen, now that was phenomenal, everyone got involved and was singing to it as well.

Shortly after, the girls returned to do Money, Money, Money and continue the night’s entertainment. Brilliant, certainly worth going to check out.
