The Stolen
I’ve always loved westerns, so I was looking forward to seeing The Stolen from Ascendant Releasing in Niall Johnson’s thrilling Western adventure, which is a heart-wrenching story set in New Zealand following a woman on a life-defining journey to rescue her kidnapped son.
Set in 1860, Charlotte Lockton (Alice Eve: Star Trek Into Darkness, Entourage) has settled in the South Island of New Zealand with her wealthy husband, David (Lucas Hinch: Nothing Personal) during the Gold Rush. Blissful beginnings are suddenly shaken as Charlotte’s world is turned upside down and her circumstances are drastically altered. Frustrated with the apathy of the authorities, she decides to take on a journey of discovery and strength to track him down alone.
Annabelle: Creation
James Wan and director of Lights Out, David F. Sandberg, audiences will see how Annabelle was first brought to life and no doubt it’s going to have audiences hiding behind their buckets of popcorn.
In “Annabelle: Creation,” several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.

Welcome to the pure terror of The Evil Within, a movie that took fifteen years in the making and took over director Andrew Getty’s life.
Two years after the tragic death of Getty the film which was in production since 2002, it was plagued with many problems during its production, such as funding issues, conflicts with the cast, and a lawsuit from a studio assistant. The film was finally completed in 2008, but Getty became obsessed with the final edit and spent years editing the film to make it perfect, but in 2015 Getty died before the editing was finished.

So as with a lot of the graphic novel adaptations, Atomic Blonde is one that I haven’t read the novel which the movie is based on, in this case, The Coldest City, so I went into the movie with a little knowledge of the story, but not too much.
Don’t be put off by the idea that this is another graphic novel adaptation and that you must know the book, you don’t, this is a movie that certainly keeps your attention during its non-stop action, plot twists, sexual scenes and the fantastic soundtrack that blasts out throughout Atomic Blonde.
